The GreenConnect Wireless Modbus Node replaces a hardwired RS-485 run with a long-range LoRa radio link. It installs at the equipment end, where pulling cable back to the controller is impractical: across floors, between buildings, through mechanical rooms, or to rooftop equipment.
The unit ships assembled and bench-tested in a sealed IP67 enclosure. Connect your Modbus RTU devices to the 4-port hub and plug the unit into a 120 V outlet. The Node communicates with a GreenConnect Wireless Modbus Gateway, which connects to the building network over Ethernet and presents the field devices as Modbus TCP.

Typical applications
- Connecting HVAC equipment, meters, and VRF gateways to a BMS without new cable runs
- Wireless submetering
- Linking rooftop or remote equipment to an indoor controller
Note: Requires a GreenConnect Wireless Modbus Gateway at the network end. One Gateway can serve multiple Nodes, provided every Modbus device on the network has a unique slave ID. Range depends on building construction and antenna placement.
Disclaimer: Product enclosure color may come in either white or black depending on inventory in stock.
